Our client, a Montreal-based fashion and wholesale apparel company, is seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist to join their team.
The role involves managing payroll for both salaried and hourly employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing, reconciling reports, and handling government reporting and compliance tasks. The specialist will also manage employee leave balances, produce ROEs, and assist with special projects like the upgrade from Pay at Work to Workforce Now in ADP. Additionally, they will support year-end activities and the Designer Tax Credit.
On the HR side, responsibilities include promoting company values, assisting with employee relations, organizing corporate events, managing benefits, handling employee onboarding and terminations, and overseeing recruitment.
