Compensation and Benefits: 100,000 – 120,000 CAD/year based on experience, Health Insurance (medical, dental, vision, life), and many other perks

 

This position is only open to residents of Canada who have legal work authorization.

 

About our client who is hiring for this position:

Evlv is currently working with a Montreal based online retailer in outdoor apparel and accessories looking to fill the role of Search Engine Optimization Manager.

 

The SEO Manager will be responsible for leading and improving the organic search performance while supporting the SEM team. They will be responsible for tracking datapoints and optimizing ever process, seeing every possible SEO edge.

Requirements:

  • 5 years experience in a similar SEO position
  • Familiar with SEO tools (e.g. Google Search Consol, SEMrush, Ahrefs)
  • Ability to Query databases to extract and analyze data, creating new SEO strategies
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Basic Programming Knowledge (python) an asset

 

The responsibilities will include:

1) Authority and Technical SEO

  • Develop authority-building strategies, including backlink acquisition
  • Monitor and flag technical SEO issues and emerging updates like schema markup, ensuring they are address and resolved

 

2) Content and Keyword Growth

  • Expand portfolio of informational keywords to build topical authority and enhance the users journey
  • Grow the portfolio of shopping-focused keywords to improve visibility and drive sales

 

3) Keyword and Page Optimization

  • Monitor and optimize key pages within the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with paid advertising teams to align organic and paid keyword strategies for maximum performance
