Job Title: Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate entry and maintenance of orders, invoices, and payments across Sage 50. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth data flow between departments and supporting the overall efficiency of our accounting operations.
Enter and process purchase orders, sales orders, packing lists, and invoices in Sage 50.
Record and track vendor invoices, customer payments, and business expenses.
Verify and reconcile data across all systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and vendor records.
Generate basic financial and transaction reports as needed.
Support the accounting team with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
Create and update spreadsheets with large volumes of data.
Review and confirm data accuracy by comparing it to source documents.
Update existing data as required and ensure timely entry of new data.
Collaborate with the team lead to prioritize and complete urgent or high-priority requests.
Experience with Sage 50 is required.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including basic formulas) and Outlook.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality and integrity.
Comfortable working independently and within a team environment.
Prior experience in data entry, accounting, or administrative roles is a plus.
