Sharepoint Consultant
The impact you will have:
As a Sharepoint Consultant within the Professional Services organization, you will have the opportunity to consult with and advise our valued enterprise and public sector clients on the setup, configuration, and administration of Microsoft OneDrive / Sharepoint solutions, as part of their overall IT infrastructure. In this highly visible customer-facing role, you will impact their business through innovative solutions and support.
You will support and collaborate with the team on Microsoft OneDrive/SharePoint projects, which includes migrations, modernization, security, governance and compliance. This will require a technical understanding of planning, designing, and configuring Microsoft OneDrive/SharePoint environments.
What you’ll do:
· Requirement Assessment: Conduct workshops with senior members of customer organizations to drive requirement assessments
· Solution Design: Architect comprehensive solutions that integrate Microsoft OneDrive / Sharepoint with third-party products, ensuring alignment with business goals
· Customization and Integration:
· Design and implement customizations and integrations to meet specific client needs
· Documentation: Collect, analyze, validate, and document business requirements, creating detailed technical specifications for the implementation team
· Build and Configuration: Lead the build and configuration of the system, ensuring adherence to the original design and client requirements. Provide expert knowledge and best practices during the Build phase.
· Testing Support: Provide guidance and support during the testing phase, including functional testing and integration testing
· Effective Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using use cases, visual diagrams, and process flow charts
· Client Management: Foster strong relationships with client Project teams, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
· Mentoring: Mentor and provide guidance to team members on advanced modules and solutioning aspects
What you’ll bring to the table:
· Computer Science / Information Technology degree or diploma or equivalent industry experience.
· 6 to 10 years of experience implementing or supporting enterprise environments MS OneDrive/Sharepoint
· Relevant experience as a consultant in a professional services environment
· Extensive experience in implementing solutions for medium-to-large enterprise customers
· Thorough understanding of business, process, and technology relating to OneDrive/Sharepoint solutions
· Hands on experience with migrating content to SharePoint Online/OneDrive using native and third-party tools (e.g. Microsoft SPMT, Sharegate, Quest, etc…)
· Experience with requirement gathering, solution designing, implementing, and configuring OneDrive/Sharepoint solutions
· Demonstrated track record in delivering quality, on-time technology and business solutions to a diverse customer base
· Solid interpersonal skills to interface with co-workers and customers, managing specific tasks to completion with minimal direction
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Updated Certifications and training to include; Information Protection and Compliance Administrator, Messaging Administrator Associate, and ITIL v4 Foundation, and relevant third-party migration tool certification is an asset.
